Earlier this year I ordered a couple of Navi10 kits from KeyHive. I finally got around to building and soldering them. Bear in mind this was my first attempt ever at soldering, so I did botch one of the keys.

As you can see above, my soldering skills are absolutely awful. Thankfully the finished board has plates on each side, so the soldering is not visible.

MX custom keycaps

I built two of them, and played around with some cherry MX silent red switches (soldered 10 to each board) and a few keycaps and test switches of each colour.

The finished macropad has LEDs, but the board has to be programmed to actually work with a computer. I have yet to get around to do this. My aim for these pads was obviously for gaming, aside from the obvious aesthetics [they look great on the desk].
