The amazfit t-rex 2 is a gorgeous, G-Shock'esque watch that has a crisp, high-326 PPI display, incredible battery life, a great display, and everything an Apple Watch has (including blood oxygen monitoring, heart-rate monitoring, sleep tracking, stress level monitoring and many other features, at a slightly cheaper price point.
It looks and feels premium, with military-grade ratings (they even sent it to space), and unlike the Apple Watch, you don't need to charge it every day - try every 2 or 3 weeks!
First impressions
Rugged, attractive design:
# The build quality, seemingly unbreakable military specs and design are top spec.It comes as no surprise that the Amazfit brand actually build smartwatches for Xiaomi. Being a long-time fan and supporter of Xiaomi products (great price points for premium hardware and design) Thus I knew this watch was going to be a premium offering, and I have not been let down.

It is a large but comfortable & slick device on the wrist.
I opted for the Ember Black version, I was conflicted between it and the astro black & gold, both are great-looking colour-scheme.

The watch is €250 which, when taking ito account the build quality, specs and features, does not seem too expensive. The Zepp companion app is actually quite useful, and seems so far to sync nicely with Google Fit. I do prefer Fit's layout [much less complex and kinder on the eye] but nevertheless Zepp is not a bad app, and it allows full customization of the watch features such as faces, various modes and sensor activations.
